Amazon Fashion opens Dwyane Wade pop-up

Dwyane Wade is showcasing his fashion taste on Amazon with a new Amazon Fashion pop-up shop for men that features Wade's collaboration projects with The Tie Bar, Stance, Mission and his signature Way of Wade sneakers.

Amazon is selling the pop-up to consumers with the call to action to "dress like a champion on the court and off with signature branded collections from basketball superstar Dwyane Wade."

The pop-up shop includes 100 pieces curated from Wade's various collaborative projects. The full Mission performance apparel product line includes both men's items as well as women's apparel such as sports bras and capris, however only men's will be sold in the pop-up. On-court items include cooling Mission tees and shorts as well as Way of Wade sneakers. Off-court items include neck wear from The Tie Bar and socks by Stance.

Wade has been interested in fashion for some time. He has declared his goal is to become like Tom Ford. He said, "I love learning about fashion, I love being included in this space. I understand that I have so much to learn, but I love being accepted into the space."

To celebrate the opening of the pop-up shop, Amazon Fashion's director Kate Kate Dimmock hosted a dinner in New York for Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union. Dimmock expects the shop to be a success, pointing out that men are receptive to online shopping.

Menswear is one of the top three categories for Amazon Fashion. To date, the only other celebrity Amazon has worked with for a fashion collection is Sarah Jessica Parker.

Amazon has curated the pop-up to range in price from under $10 for a cooling towel from Mission to $160 for Way of Wade sneakers. All items are Prime eligible for quick delivery.
