German menswear trade show Selvedge Run is moving for its upcoming summer edition, taking place on 3-5 July, to the Palais am Funkturm, in Berlin.

The show, dedicated to men’s denim, shoes, accessories and crafted goods, said its connection with Panorama will continue after running alongside the famous trade fair in January. This means visitors will be able to use Panorama’s shuttle service and luggage check-in.

However, Selvedge Run said it will continue to build on the success of the winter edition, emphasise its independence and continue driving its organic growth. Additionally, processes for exhibitors and visitors will be further improved, according to its organisers.

The new venue, which is located on the exhibition grounds of City West, offers more space, an attractive exterior and improved logistics.

It features a separate entrance at Halle Nord, where the routes are much clearer and there is easy access to public transport. The building will provide a total area of 2,500 sq mts over two floors.

The focus of the event will remain on an exclusive selection of strong exhibitors. The stands will be deliberately kept simple, with air conditioning and bright interiors creating a relaxed business environment. The building’s attractive surroundings, including a terrace and fountain, are likely to become a highlight, especially in the summer, as they will feature food trucks and seating areas. An evening event is also planned for the first day of the event.

Berlin’s Palais am Funkturm was built in 1957 by Bruno Grimmek and Werner Düttmann as a ball, banquet and reception hall. The refurbished venue has stylish architectural elements, period decorations and above all, daylight.
