Coach has opened its first standalone boutique in Mexico City.

Coach opens first boutique in Mexico City - Vía Santa Fe

Located at Via Santa Fe shopping center, the store features the brand’s clothing and leather goods in a space designed by design firm Studio Sofield, where contrasting textures and luxury materials illustrate the essence of New York City.

It follows the brand’s Modern Luxury concept which was first introduced in 2014 and has now been rolled out in over 165 Coach stores worldwide.

The brand’s president of the international group, Ian Bickley, said Coach is “delighted” to open the first Modern Luxury store in Mexico City. The store will introduce the brand’s philosophy and lifestyle as well as offer a new retail experience, he added.

In addition to the Mexico City store, Coach has a further store in Mexico’s Guadalajara which was launched earlier this year.

Coached arrived in Mexico in 2003 represented by leading multi-channel distributor, Grupo Axo. It now has more than 70 stores and concessions in department stores such as Liverpool and El Palacio de Hierro, as well as freestanding boutiques in Puebla and Cancun.
