Deckers is reviewing its organization in Europe. The American company is opting for a more direct structure. Having gotten rid of the CEO UK position in 2012, it has recently also discarded CEO positions for its subsidiaries in Benelux and France. The latter was overseen by Jean-Michel Herrault, the former country manager of UGG Australia, who relaunched the brand in France in 2007 and created the subsidiary at the end of 2010.

The company is nevertheless retaining its subsidiaries and their headquarters. Ugg and Teva as well as Hoka One One will continue to make use of their Parisian showrooms at 29 rue des Pyramides (1st arrondissement), in central Paris. The sales and marketing teams will now report directly to the Europe (EMEA) CEOs for each brand. For Ugg Australia, teams are overseen by Gianni Georgiades in London, while Rob Van Der Vis oversees Teva’s teams from Amsterdam.

Since early February, Sergio Azzoli has served as the new senior vice president, EMEA at Deckers, which includes the brands Ugg Australia, Teva, Sanuk, Hoka One One, Ahnu, Mozo, Deckers and Tsubo. The group has 17 stores, including six outlets, in the region. For the third quarter of its 2014-15 fiscal year, which ended in late December, it generated a turnover of 784.7 million dollars (723 million euros). In France, according to sources, the figure increased from 10 million in 2011 to nearly 35 million euros last year, with annual growth of nearly 30%.
