Aldo Lorenzi, founder of G. Lorenzi, has found a new home for his luxury knives, cuff links, toiletry and shaving kits and smoking articles in the Larusmiani flagship boutique at Number 7 on Via MonteNapoleone. Guglielmo Miani, CEO of Larusmiani, recently acquired G. Lorenzi after the store had closed in 2014 after 85 years of business.

This Saturday, the Larusmiani flagship store—renowned for its high quality men’s and women’s apparel—on Via MonteNapoleone, Milan, will feature items from both companies. In addition to G. Lorenzi cuff links, men’s grooming tools, pipes, cigar cutters, and high-quality knives, the store will also include original G. Lorenzi furniture.

Both Lorenzi and Miani have emphasized a tradition of high quality coupled with modernity in their craftmanship. Miani says of Lorenzi, “Aldo Lorenzi taught me the importance of always dreaming yet being pragmatic at the same time.” Of passing on the G. Lorenzi legacy to Miani, Lorenzi says, “Guglielmo Miani is one of the few who stands for substance, a combination of beauty with deep knowledge. This is why transmitting the experience of my lifetime’s work was natural for me.”

CEO of Larusmiani, Guglielmo Miani revealed that in the future, these items will be produced by Larusmiani and will be under the company’s brand. G. Lorenzi history will be shared via brochures provided with the products.

Larusmiani, established in 1954, is Via MonteNapoleone’s oldest ready-to-wear tailor’s shop. It has received numerous accolades, including one of the ten best boutiques in the world by Conde Naste Traveller and Wallpaper. The store offers bespoke suits and other luxury apparel for men and women.
