Jinkins took home the €50,000 prize and will begin working with H&M’s design team immediately to develop select pieces from her collection, learning about production and the business side of the fashion world, for a capsule collection to hit stores next October.

The Swedish fast fashion retailer received more than 400 entries which it cut to 24 semifinalists to the eight talents who showed at London's Orangery at Kensington Palace, reported Vogue UK, the first to report the news and which was on-hand to speak with the jury members and the winner herself after the show.

Five of the eight finalists were home-grown talent, all graduates of London design schools, with the remaining three hailing from Seoul, New York and Stockholm.
