In 2015 Bologna-based Centergross, one of Europe's major fast fashion wholesale hubs, has achieved a number of significant results. The hub's revenue has remained stable, altogether at about €5 billion, thanks to buyers from Italy, the rest of Europe, Asia, the Middle East and America, and despite the precarious international economic situation. At the same time, both the number of visitors and the leased retail area have increased.

The number of visitors was 1,724,290 - over 35,000 more than in 2014 - 60% of whom were overseas buyers. Besides Italy, the countries recording the highest visitor increases were in fact Germany, Spain, France, Russia and China. Leased retail area has also increased: in December, only 8.3% of the centre's retail area was vacant, compared to 16.2% in 2010. Over five years, the unused retail area has halved.
