The company is heading to NYFW after holding a successful fashion show in Milan during Milan Fashion Week. JD.com has collaborated once again with Europe Design Center to choose five China-based designers that are most deserving of wider exposure.

The five participating designers this season are Alicia Lee, Gioia Pan, Ruiping Guo, Chi Zhang and international soccer star, Tim Cahill who plays for the Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese Super League. Each of the participating designers has a unique style and aesthetic that compliment each other. Alicia Lee creates modern, forward-thinking designs and looks, Gioia Pan focuses on hand-made designs and hand-knit goods, Ruiping Guo has an affinity for vibrant colors, Chi Zhang combines streetwear and elegance and Cahill focuses on youthful style and comfort.

The JD.com fashion show in Milan coincided with the launch of the company Italian Fashion Mall platform that is dedicated to introducing Italian fashion brands and products to consumers in China. Lin Gu, Ali Tan and Xiaoyan Xu took part in the Milan runway show in September.

The JD.com runway show at NYFW will be held on February 17 at Pier 59.
