Johnson & Johnson appoints CEO for South America
American multinational company Johnson & Johnson has announced the appointment of Leonardo Curado as new Managing Director for the Southern Cone, a geographic region composed of Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and Argentina.
According to local trade journal Pharmabiz, the Brazilian executive will replace Andre Mendes, who headed the South American division for over four years and will now lead the Brazilian unit as CEO.
Leonardo Curado joined Johnson & Johnson in 2009 as Senior Manager of the Business Unit and was promoted to Unit Director shortly after. He also served as Professional & Customer Development Senior Director at the company before taking the reins of the Southern Cone division from his seat in Argentina.
