Mango consolidates its online businesses in Spain
Mango has combined its Spanish companies Mango Online SA and Punto FA SL into one business dedicated to its online operations.
According to Spanish newspaper Cinco Dias, the move will become effective at the end of this year. The consolidation forms part of a restructuring process launched by the Spanish fashion brand this summer in a bid to reduce its costs and streamline its decision-making structure.
Recent months have also seen the appointment of Nahman Andic as new head of retail for Spain and Turkey and of Eva Baquedano as strategy manager. Mango also recently introduced a new corporate committee in line with its strategic plan for the period 2013-2018.
Launched by Andic in 1984, Barcelona-based Mango has a presence in 109 countries.
Last year Mango reported 2.3 billion euros in sales, representing a 15% increase on 2014.
