Matchesfashion.com has announced the launch of a dedicated website for France, marking the first localised non-English language digital venture for the luxury fashion platform.

“France is already a successful trading market for Matchesfashion.com so it seemed a natural step to launch a full French e-commerce experience”, said company CEO Ulric Jerome.

The launch includes dedicated mobile apps, print magazine and stylist team, who are available 7 days a week, from 9am to 6pm to answer requests. Customers will be also able to benefit from next day delivery.

“France holds a significant place in the luxury market and we are pleased to have the ability to promote our unique and curated product offer locally to the French audience,” added Jerome.

To celebrate the move, the luxury shopping destination will be hosting a series of events and initiatives in France, including support of the ANDAM awards which nurture and celebrate innovation in fashion.

Ruth Chapman, co-founder and executive co-chairman of Matchesfashion.com will present the First Collections Prize to the winner.

Additionally, Matchesfashion will be hosting a seasonal edit over four days in Paris, in a space that has yet to be named but will “reflect its London private shopping townhouse”. The initiative will allow customers to interact with products and attend a series of events, seminars and installations.

Now in its 30th year, Matchesfashion.com offers a modern edit of over 400 established and independent brands to customers from 175 countries. The company also has a fashion-concierge team that offers 24/7 advice, as well as retail stores in London and a private shopping townhouse in Marylebone.
