Oysho, the Inditex-owned home- and activewear label, is pursuing its international expansion and foraying into the Swiss and Belarusian markets, bringing its international store count to 650, the company said in a press release.

Oysho's flagship store in Geneva - Oysho

The label has landed at the Place du Molard in central Geneva, where its flagship will be spread across 330 square metres on one floor.

Oysho has plumped for a locale at the foot of the street, a building that has maintained its original facade, seeing a spacious interior concept based around light and the colour white. The contrast of industrial materials with key design elements such as white marble is designed to create a unique and peaceful atmosphere in-store.

The audiovisual aspect also features heavily, due to the installation of a large video wall, upon which lookbooks from the brand are projected continuously. There is also a LED screen in the centre of the store.

Inditex is strengthening its presence in Switzerland with this opening, which will bring it up to 40 points of sale. Zara, at 19 sales points, accounts for most.

Oysho is also to set foot in Belarus in August, with an inauguration set for Minsk on the 10th. The 330-square-metre store will be located on a single floor in Dana Mall shopping centre.

The label continues the development of its concept and branding, advancing in design and innovation in addition to consumer tastes in each local where the various lines of the brand are to be found: Sleepwear, lingerie, activewear, beachwear, footwear and accessories.

With these two openings, Oysho adds to its worldwide offering of 650 stores. It is physically present in 49 countries and operates an ecommerce store in 32 more.
