Limited Brands has just published figures for its financial year 2013/2013, which ended February 2. The American lingerie and beauty group - which owns Victoria’s Secret, La Senza and Pink - saw total sales rise to 10.5 billion dollars (or 8 billion euros), with operating profit at 1.7 billion dollars. Net profit, however, fell 11% to 753 million dollars.

Victoria's Secret is looking to open three stores in the UK this year

In terms of comparable sales, the group has reported an increase of 6% for this year against 10% in 2011. The group's only brand currently present in Europe, Victoria's Secret, saw net sales grow by 7%, generating over half of overall sales at the group.

The group has yet to shed much light on its 2013 objectives. For the moment, the group wants to continue development in the United Kingdom where Victoria’s Secret opened its first two stores. Three more store openings are in the pipeline for 2013, one of which is to open in Sheffield's Meadowhall shopping centre.
