From November 24 to 25, the French edition of Vogue will host the second edition of its "Vogue Fashion Festival", a fashion event dedicated to professionals and major fashion followers alike. The event is expected to attract some very big names in luxury this year, those expected to lead discussions, participate on panels and run masterclasses over the two days. And, the event will again take place in the very chic Potocki Hotel in the 8th Paris arrondissement.

François-Henri Pinault - Vogue

On Friday November 24, the theme will be: "The Transformation of the Luxury Industry Ecosystem", a topic to be addressed by nine speakers. This will include François-Henri Pinault, CEO of Kering, who will tackle the question: "How do luxury brands seize the future?" He will be followed by a talk by creative director Demna Gvasalia, on a subject he knows well: "Balenciaga, a model of transformation." Later in the day, the president Chanel's fashion division, Bruno Pavlovsky, will give his views on "mastering the image of a luxury brand in a digital and instantaneous age."

Parallel to the conferences, which requires payment to attend on prior registration, there will be two masterclass geared toward students and young entrepreneurs, discussing the success stories of pure players, but also the keys to a successful job  interview in the world of luxury.

The second day, Saturday November 25, will start with more questions geared toward the sector's creative evolution. A panel will discuss the reciprocal influences between fashion and art and will feature a talk by Michael Burke, CEO of Louis Vuitton. The afternoon sessions will host interviews with major designers: most notably, Karl Lagerfeld and Alber Elbaz.

Moreover, still inside the Potocki Hotel, there will be two masterclasses on fashion journalism by Vogue, naturally, but also a discussion on using social media to develop a brand's visual identity. The talk will feature Emmanuelle Alt, editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, and Simon Porte Jacquemus and Jeanne Damas.
