The style is clearly New York, but Yeon's label is all the richer for the interbreeding. Recently launched by the young Korean designer Yeon Park, the eponymous luxury women's ready-to-wear label has a foothold in Paris too. Indeed, in the last two years, Yeon Park has carried out her textile research, leading up to the brand's launch, in French ateliers.

Autumn-Winter 16/17 collection - Yeon

"I wouldn't have found the expertise of the great French ateliers anywhere but here," said the designer. After prolonged work to define the materials, their treatment and their details, the first 'made in France' Autumn-Winter 16/17 collection has finally been launched in New York, London and Paris.

It consists of some forty items for a chic, a touch sober, ready-to-wear apparel line, in grey, black and white, and featuring architectural cuts, a reminder of the 'American school' where the designer was trained. She studied at the Parsons School, then worked at Thakoon, Proenza Schouler and Donna Karan.

Yeon will launch her e-shop this summer and hopes to enjoy a presence in department stores, concept stores and with luxury e-commerce players by then.
