Nicolás Corral, head of Spanish fashion and accessories brand Bimba y Lola, has stepped down from his position and is moving to Acciona, according to Expansión. The move comes as the company approaches a possible sale.
Spanish brand Bimba y Lola has posted double-digit revenue growth ahead of a possible sale to investment fund Permira. The brand ended 2017 with revenue of 180.8 million euros, up 18.5% against the previous year.
Known for its export potential, the Portuguese textile industry is currently seeking to balance its historical manufacturing models and raw materials with a young, sustainable fashion scene and its commercial ambitions.
Spanish designer brand Bimba y Lola continues to expand its international footprint with plans to open a new store in the UK. The new space will be located at 295-297 Brompton Road and will open next month.
