The privately held company has been a partner of the NBA since 1983. The newly expanded agreement grants ’47 the rights to use current NBA team logos on headwear for men, women and children, as well as apparel. In addition, ’47 will produce styles for the NBA All-Star Weekend, NBA Playoffs and NBA Finals.

The Boston-based company is also investing in team relationships and secured partnerships with the Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns, Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls and playoff-bound teams the Houston Rockets and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

"We recognize the significance of the NBA business from both a cultural perspective and as one of the premier sports leagues," said '47 co-owner Steven D'Angleo. "We're looking forward to growing our presence with NBA fans and with our long-time partners at the league."

’47 is currently a partner of the NFL, NHL, and 900 collegiate programs and entered into a licensing agreement with the MLB in 2015.
