​Balmain stages archive exhibition in Seoul

With the presence of its Creative Director Olivier Rousteing, on Thursday luxury fashion house Balmain launched an archive exhibition in Seoul.

Held at the Arumjigi building, the show included a runway walk with the SS16 collection and an after party attended by Seoul’s most prominent celebrities and socialites.

After the initial showcase, the archive exhibition will continue to be shown at the Lotte World Tower until May 19.

The display explores and highlights the history behind the brand as told through some of its most iconic collections, including Pierre Balmain’s effortless yet luxurious 1946 Fall/Winter silhouettes..

Showcased are also some of Oscar de la Renta’s designs for the label and Olivier Rousteing’s signature pop-inspired pieces.
