Fashion brand COS, owned by Swedish retail-clothing company H&M, is expanding its footprint in Belgium with the opening of its first store in Hasselt, due to launch on February 12. The opening takes COS stores in the country to a total of seven.

Located on Kapelstraat, the 318 sq mt unit will open with the Spring Summer 2016 womenswear and menswear collections. The store design takes inspiration from these collections, and uses clean lines and natural materials to bring to life the label’s design values, represented throughout the store and lounge area.

Marie Honda, COS Managing Director says, “We are pleased to be opening our latest Belgium store in the historic city of Hasselt. We hope the store is well received by our customers and we look forward to future expansion within Belgium”.

Positioned at a slightly higher price point to H&M’s offerings, COS retails modern and minimalist designs influenced by architecture.  Further Belgian stores are located in Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent and Liège.
