​Dutch womenswear chain Witteveen sold to O&C investments

According to Dutch newspaper Het Financieele Dagblad womenswear chain, Witteveen has been sold to O&C investments. Witteveen has been struggling with financial problems for some time already.



The newspaper reports that the transaction was completed in mid-February, according to an entry in the Commercial Register of the Chamber of Commerce.

The fashion chain offers its own label, Witteveen, in some one hundred of its own stores across The Netherlands as well as an online shop. Items are priced between €17,95,- and €129,95,-.

Earlier it was reported by Het Financieele Dagblad that O&C investments also took over 22 stores from Dutch womenwear chain, Purdey. With the purchase of Witteveen, O&C investments currently owns 120 womenswear stores in the Netherlands.
