Seasonal pop-up offer sees Guinea making King’s Road return

Oct 12, 2021

With much of UK retail fighting back financially after the pandemic, pop-up stores can play an important role in helping brands present an affordable physical voice while allowing property owners to fill vacant spaces.

Property group Sloane Stanley said it has signed luxury women’s clothing brand Guinea to a second-year seasonal pop-up on the King’s Road, Chelsea.

The temporary store at 336 King’s Road, which will operate until 24 October, spans 1,298 sq ft offering ‘London to Country’ autumn/winter fashion with the family-run fashion retailer featuring “versatile and timeless wardrobe classics that are cut to flatter and will work across all aspects of everyday life”.

These include tailored coats and jackets to elegant tops and blouses made from high-quality and sustainable fabrics.

Judith Cutting, founder and creative director of Guinea, said: “Following the success of our previous pop-up with Sloane Stanley its fantastic to be back on the King’s Road and in a bricks and mortar store. King’s Road’s… holistic offering and community atmosphere makes it a fabulous destination for our new seasonal pop-up, and we look forward to continuing to offer luxury clothing with a distinctly British feel throughout October to such a diverse and engaged consumer.”

Hannah Grievson, Property director at Sloane Stanley, said: “Guinea’s premium fashion offering [is a perfect example] of our successful approach to flexible leases which enable our visitors to enjoy a seasonally-appropriate offer. This launch evidences our commitment to welcoming innovative and creative concepts to the King’s Road and Fulham Road.
