The Big Apple loves Marni, and the feeling is definitely mutual. The label has opened a second boutique there, not far from Madison Avenue. Installed in a former art gallery, the store has the ambiance of a loft.

It is Consuelo Castiglioni and the architects at Sybarite who have taken charge of transforming two floors, some 820m².
Using abstracts forms and strong lines in the interior design, the boutique makes the pieces of the collection look like artworks.
A trapezoidal opening bursts through the ceiling of the ground floor, creating a spectacular double-height entrance in which mannequins are randomly suspended on fiberglass wires. Large geometric ceiling coverings give the impression of a theatrical skylight, while a series of hanging cables support boxes lined with velvet which display accessories.
Across the store wavy furniture can be found, a style which has become the signature of Marni boutiques that present ready-to-wear lines.
As for the second floor, besides the main area there is, at the back, a small area where lingerie is presented on fiberglass frames in leather padded niches.
Like all openings of new Marni boutiques, a selection of special items has been commissioned to celebrate the inauguration of 21 East 67th Street.
