After Stockholm, Paris and even New York, the new space open in London joins the thriving list of “Acne Studios”. A store opened up in Berlin in 2005; a place linked to the brand’s origins. 1996 was the year for the group to come together and distribute their own products offering a hundred different pieces; the founders decided to help smaller brands as well.

In 2008, on the occasion of the Paris boutique’s launch, the brand could count just under 10 sales outlets worldwide. Two years later, with a well established reputation, smoothly conducted collaborations; especially one with Lanvin, the brand has doubled its presence. The label takes a new twist to the future, launching in London in style.

13 Dover Street, takes the form of a real house. The brand owns four floors and trusted the interior design to painter and illustrator Jeremiah Goodman. Helmut Lang’s "the Eagle" is delightfully discovered inside, divided into three parts and covered with tar, which up until now has been decorating his Soho shop.

As far as the products, we find the Acne universe richly embellished for men, women and for the more recent target children. Proof of the brand’s success was shown when Swedish King magazine awarded Swedish designer Jonny Johansson “most influential man in fashion, 2007”.
