Amazing Cosmetics will be sold on Amazon
The UK beauty brand will be available to a wider audience thanks to its debut on Amazon. The launch arrives as Seattle e-commerce giant continues to significantly expand its fashion and beauty sector.
Despite being on the market since 1999, Amazing Cosmetics remains more of a cult than a mainstream beauty brand in the United States. Although sold on Ulta, the brand is otherwise not widely available to the American market. That will soon change with the brand’s launch on Amazon this month.
The move is part of an effort from Amazing Cosmetics to grow its network. It will also launch new products exclusive to Ulta and QVC this moth, both focused on illuminating and priming the skin.
The brand is particularly beloved for its complexion products, which suit a wide range of skin tones. More and more beauty brands, including the newly launched Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, have put on emphasis on inclusive complexion products.
Amazon has also considerably increased its focus on beauty and fashion. The online retailer launched its first exclusive beauty product in collaboration with startup Ouiglo this summer. Rumors also floated during the summer of a potential partnership with luxury Los Angeles-based beauty retailer Violet Grey.
