Mammoth multi-use center American Dream in East Rutherfood, New Jersey has announced that it will be opening its doors on October 25, 2019, offering visitors a mix of retail, fashion, entertainment and dining experiences.

45% of the approximately 3-million-square-meter mega mall will be dedicated to experiential retail, with luxury department stores Saks Fifth Avenue and Barneys New York anchoring an offering that will include brands such as Hermès, Dolce & Gabbana, Tiffany & Co and Moncler, among others.
As malls around the country seek to tempt consumers through their doors with differentiated experiences, the remaining 55% of the Triple Five Group-developed facility will be set aside for entertainment, including an indoor Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park and DreamWorks Water Park, which together will total 16 acres.
Other entertainment draws will include the Big Snow Ski and Snowboard Park – North America’s first indoor snow sports center – as well as an NHL-sized ice rink, an 18-hole Angry Birds miniature golf course, the Legoland Discovery Center and Sea Life Aquarium, a Coca-Cola Social Lounge and a CMX Luxury Movie Theatre.
“We know that the community has been eagerly awaiting the launch of this incredible global destination,” said Don Ghermezian, president of American Dream, in a release. “We have a one-of-a-kind property that will reshape the way people think about entertainment, theme parks and shopping and we are so excited to reveal our incredible Nickelodeon Theme Park, DreamWorks Water Park and Big Snow Ski and Snowboard Park.”
American Dream will be releasing further details about what it has to offer to visitors, as well as about the events surrounding its opening, over the coming weeks.
