Following a year of “significant growth” through 2022, British jewellery brand Astrid & Miyu said it is continuing investment in physical retail, opening the doors to seven stores across the UK and Europe during Q4 (2022) and Q1 (2023).

Before the end of 2022, Astrid & Miyu will have opened the doors to its first store in Scotland -- in Edinburgh -- as well as stores in Bristol, Brighton, and Kingston. Openings in Bath and Glasgow will follow in January. The brand is also expanding its offer in Newcastle’s Fenwick flagship to a dedicated concession.

The openings in Bristol and Edinburgh were also designed with the history of their respective cities in mind, “creating a retail space that stays true to Astrid & Miyu’s roots while paying homage to the iconic history of each city”, such as nods to artist Banksy and the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol and the gothic architecture of its Edinburgh store, which features original ceiling moulding from 1755.

The latest announcements follow a year of “huge success” for the brand that not only opened multiple stores across the UK, but also expanded internationally, including its first store in the US, in New York’s NoLiTa neighbourhood, as well as pop-ups in Le Marais, Paris, during the autumn and earlier in Berlin.

“The store openings mark a huge step in Astrid & Miyu’s long-term worldwide expansion strategy, which will continue into 2023 with a number of new store openings in the works”, it said.
