German Annelie Augustin and French Odély Teboul met at ESMOD Paris, where they both graduated in 2006. After a few jobs at big fashion houses (Annelie at Yohji and Adidas, Odély at Gaultier), the two young women launched their own brand project, winning the Grand Prix du Festival de Dinard in 2010, followed by the Start Your Fashion Business (SYFB) prize in Germany in 2011. Augustin Teboul's runway shows are part of the official Berlin Mercedes Fashion Week schedule.

The jury for this third edition of the Dorchester Prize was composed of Kenzo Takada, Nathalie Rykiel, Chantal Thomass, Frizoni Bruno, Jean-Jacques Picart, Lorenz Baumer, Harumi Kossowska Rola and Alexandra Golovanoff. The prize awarded by the Dorchester Hotel Group will help the two-women team develop their brand with prize money totaling 30,000 euros as well as free use of a suite at the Hotel Principe di Savoia during the next fashion week in Milan.

Past winners of the award were Thomas Tait, the Canadian designer based in Paris and the Anndra Neen duo, specializing in accessories and jewelry.
