BHV Marais heading to Dubai?

According to our sources, the BHV Marais is set to open a new store in a few months... in Dubai. The subsidiary store from the Galeries Lafayette group will cover a 10,000 m² extension planned for the city's City Walk shopping centre. The centre is already home to a Galeries Lafayette store, which has also had a location in the Dubai Mall since 2009.

The Parisian department store will be surrounded by high-end and affordable luxury brands at the City Walk, a high percentage of which are European and, more precisely, French.
 
This opening, the official announcement of which is imminent, will be a major comeback for a store that was for all intents and purposes written off a couple of years ago.

It's true that since then, BHV has transformed itself, retaining its own identity but one, at least for the Paris Rivoli store, that stands up to its neighbours, having proven itself as a landmark fashion destination and a point of reference for a Parisian quarter known around the world.
