BasicNet’s revenue up 30% in first nine months of 2022

BasicNet, owner of sportswear brands Robe di Kappa and K-Way and footwear brand Superga, has closed the first nine months of the year on an upward trend. Aggregate sales were worth €929.4 million, an increase of 34.3% compared to the same period in 2021. Consolidated revenue was €282.6 million, up by 30.3%, EBITDA was €44.1 million, up by 31.4%, and EBIT was €33.3 million, an increase of 37.3%.

In the first nine months of 2022, the Turin-based company paid dividends worth €6.1 million and bought back shares worth €4.8 million. BasicNet also acquired a 100% stake in K-Way France for €33.4 million.

BasicNet has decided that in November all its employees will receive an additional monthly salary as a goods and services allowance, to be spent within 12 months to pay (or be reimbursed for) utility bills, petrol, school fees, transport and food expenses.
