It's a comeback for Jérôme Cambounet, who previously worked as deputy director of operations for Beaumanoir China in 2012 and was head of the firm's Chinese subsidiary from 2007 to 2013. The ESCP graduate, who has formed his entire career in Shanghai, was appointed as CEO of Beaumanoir Asia at the beginning of September. Prior to his new appointment, Cambounet was the China CEO at Russian sporting goods giant Sportmaster.

After three years as Beaumanoir Group's Asia CEO, Millet is preparing to take on a new challenge and has taken on the role as North Asia president for LVMH’s watch brand Tag Heuer. The Beaumanoir group, which was been led by Jérôme Drianno for the past year, has bid goodbye to the executive that worked as a director since 2013.

France's Beaumanoir is highly active in the Asian market, in particular in China, where it launched in 2005. The business has stopped its brand Bonobo’s retail activities but has retained its Cache Cache network, for which it has close to one thousand points-of-sale. The business also has an antenna for its logistics segment C-Log, which has a warehouse in Shanghai.

Thomas Beaumanoir told FashionNetwork.com in spring that the business, which also owns the brands Morgan and Bréal, had a total turnover of €1.3 billion in 2018.
