Winter’s coming and Belstaff is promising all-weather protection with its AW21 range. Continuing its partnership with Gore-Tex, the luxury heritage brand has launched a range of “polished, precision-engineered outerwear” for the upcoming season.

Belstaff x Gore Tex

The collection of two new jackets “delivers on quality, functional integrity and style”, combining Belstaff’s “singular design language with Gore-Tex’s best-in-class technical materials”.

Both pieces also feature AquaGuard zips, taped seams and snap-closure storm plackets for extra protection

The jackets have been “rigorously tested” at the Gore-Tex lab facility via the facility’s Rain Room (a severe rain simulator), the Storm Cube (where winds reach up to 50mph) and its Cold Flex Test (a squashing and stretching process carried out at extreme temperatures).

The additional Martindale Test involves rubbing the fabric with textured materials and considerable pressure to replicate the activities for which the product is intended to support.

The Belstaff x Gore-Tex collaboration is available in-store and online with prices ranging £650-£750.

The launch follows quickly on from Belstaff’s collaboration with Royal Enfield, marking the motorcycle brand’s 120th anniversary year. It features two limited edition waxed jackets, styled on the waxed cotton Trialmaster jacket and the Brooklands armoured motorcycle jacket, alongside heritage-inspired T-shirts, zip-up sweatshirts, caps and enamel mugs.

The jackets are a collector’s item, with each style having a run of only 500 in Belstaff’s ‘Classic Black’ colourway and featuring a special commemorative ‘Royal Enfield 120-year Anniversary’ patch on one sleeve and an additional ‘Limited Edition’ riveted metal plaque on the inside zip.
