Feit’s first collection for women includes a new design inspired by the classical ballet shoe. To promote the new line and acknowledge its ballet roots, the New York-based label tapped former New York City Ballet principal dancer and co-founder of the L.A. Dance Project Benjamin Millepied to create a video promoting the shoes.
Millepied choreographed dancer Janie Taylor, formerly a principal of the New York City Ballet and now a member of the L.A. Dance Project, for the video. Taylor appears in Feit’s shoes dancing in the street to music written and performed by Millepied’s brother, Laurent. Millepied shot the film as well using a handheld Super 8 film camera.

Feit’s first women’s collection features the ballet flat in multiple colors, as well as lace-up shoes, sandals and mules. The collection is available at the brand’s stores and online shop, with prices ranging form $380 for the bamboo sandal, to $540 for the leather sneakers.
Feit was founded by Australian designer Tull Price and is known for its handmade shoes using natural materials. It now has two stores in New York City, and one in Sydney.
