Bergdorf Goodman opens doors of NikeLab store-in-store
The interior of the new NikeLab space is designed to emulate the basketball court. Highlight features include hardwood flooring, basketball-inspired furnishings, and custom cork finishings. The location's design carries some of the aesthetics of other NikeLab locations, like the hanging racks, open ceiling, and futuristic fluorescent rod lighting.
The shop will carry several of NikeLab’s limited-edition collections, including pieces from the Riccardo Tisci, Acronym, and Eric Elms collections.
The Bergdorf Goodman location of NikeLab opened its doors for the first time on February 10th.
In addition to this new store-in-store, NikeLab currently boasts eight stand-alone retail locations worldwide and several store-in-stores in Dover Street Market locations.
NikeLab has had a big year over the course of 2016. Its first Chicago outpost was launched in December, and its first Japanese location just days before that. The line has also launched several banner collaborations, such as a boot collab with Riccardo Tisci, a running collection with Gyakusou, a tech fleece line with Louis Vuitton’s menswear leader Kim Jones, and an athleisure collection with Olivier Rousteing.
