Tumblr has released the hottest trending celebrities, movies, TV shows, musicians and albums of 2016 on the micro-blogging website.

In their annual year-in-review report from Tumblr's Fandometrics service, analysts looked at the most popular tags in each category; the number of times that the tag was searched for; the number of times a post with the same tag was reblogged; and the number of times a post with the same tag was liked.

The most popular trends in 2016 included Beyoncé's album "Lemonade," Adele's album "25," actor Sebastian Stan and model Kendall Jenner.
