Hugo Boss is making its comeback on the Milan runway. The German label has confirmed that it will present a co-ed show for its Boss line on September 22 in Milan. Hugo Boss previously showed in the Lombardy capital in 2000, but with its womenswear collection.

From 2014 until now, the group had opted to show its collections in New York. With the announcement, the label is highlighting its relationship with Italy, where it sources most of its fabric and has its own factories, in Morrovalle, Le Marche, and in Scandicci, Tuscany.

In March, Hugo Boss recorded an increase in sales for 2018: up 2%, or 4% at current exchange rates. Revenue rose €2.8 billion, while operating income remained stable at €489 million. Net profit saw a 2% increase to €236 million. The results were announced in the wake of the implementation of a 2016 restructuring plan which it hoped would put an end to the group's difficulties.
