British heritage fashion brand Burberry is set to expand its London flagship store at 121 Regent Street this year.

The expansion will take place in order to create an exclusive area dedicated to gifting, and the new space will also accommodate a café that will offer an entirely British menu. This places Burberry among the increasing number of fashion brands and stores that are focusing on diversifying their offer with restaurants and cafés, like Maison Kitsuné and Ralph Lauren, which just opened a restaurant in New York.
The Burberry café is exclusive to the Regent Street store and so far there are no plans to roll it out to other flagships. The extension will open this spring.
