Brits triumph at the MAPIC Awards
As is tradition, commercial real estate trade show MAPIC awarded several retailers at its MAPIC awards on November 14. Four of the nine titles awarded went to the British, with JD Sports Fashion, Primark and The Body Shop walking away with Best Fashion and Footwear Retail Concept, Best Retail Global Expansion and Best Omnichannel Strategy respectively.
Trinity Leeds was awarded the accolade of Best Retail Real Estate Development in City Centre. The Special Jury Award went to St. Lazare in Paris, while the Swedish took home the title for Most Innovative Shopping Centre for Emporio in Malmö. Best Factory Outlet also went to the French for the Roppenheim centre.
