The New York-based brand has just opened its first Parisian boutique at 10 Castiglione Street. Covering a space of around 300 square metres, the new store offers mens and womens wear and several accessories marked with the brand’s “CH” stamp.

Since it was founded in 1980 by Carolina Herrera, the brand saw the launch of its first fragrance in 1987 and has now been part of Puig’s brand portfolio since 1995. Today, her products are sold under the labels “Caroline Herrera New York” and “CH Carolina Herrera”. The latter was founded in 2003 and offers a complete wardrobe for women, men and children, and it is the line found at the new Castiglione boutique.

Chic and welcoming, the space evokes the feel of a 4-star apartment, with a mixture of wooden (ebony, mahogany and oak) and leather furniture, dyed linen and silk materials and a warm chocolate brown floor. When entering the store, customers will first see a display of the brand’s accessories (bags, shoes, eyewear, scented candles and perfumes), which is followed by a room with the prêt-à-porter lines. For men and women, the label offers a high-end wardrobe collection, based on the “Basic Chic” and preppy looks, as well as cocktail dresses in Park-Avenue style.

CH Carolina Herrera is currently distributed in 72 boutiques worldwide, of which 13 alone are found in Spain, 1 in London on Mount Street, 10 in the United States, and just as many in the Middle-East. The brand expects many store openings over the course of 2011, including São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Amsterdam, Lima, Kuala Lumpur, Istanbul, Saint Dominque and Porto Rico. More openings are planned for 2012 in China.

As for the main line, Carolina Herrera New York, it is sold in concept-stores as well as high-end multibrand ones (Harvey Nichols Hong Kong, Tsum Moscou, Bergdorf New York, Saks Fifth Avenue New York and Dubaï).
