Italian influencer and entrepreneur Chiara Ferragni continues to expand her presence in the beauty market. After launching a first make-up collection in November 2021, Ferragni is now about to explore the world of fragrances.

Ferragni has signed a global license agreement for the production, distribution and promotion of a first line of perfumes in her name with Angelini Beauty SpA, which also produces fragrances for Trussardi and Blumarine. Angelini Beauty is a subsidiary of Italian group Angelini Industries, specialised in perfumery, skin care and sun care products. The first perfume by Chiara Ferragni will be launched in 2023.

“Angelini Beauty has always been firmly rooted in its core values of ethics and responsibility, and is strongly committed to issues of sustainable innovation on an ecological and social level. The encounter between our DNA and Chiara Ferragni's ability to interpret the desires of ‘digital native’ [consumers] has become the basis for this new project, inspired by an idea of the future characterised by inclusivity, uniqueness, and every person’s freedom of self-determination,” said Lluís Plà Fernandez-Villacañas, CEO of Angelini Beauty SpA.

For Chiara Ferragni, who has 28.6 million Instagram followers, entering the world of perfume is “the ultimate element for the creation of a lifestyle brand.”

Chiara Ferragni’s eponymous label already encompasses several products categories, including women’s ready-to-wear, leather goods, jewellery and childrenswear. In September 2021, Ferragni teamed up with Safilo to launch her first eyewear line.
 
The business activities of Chiara Ferragni, who is reportedly looking for investors to accelerate her brand's growth, generated a revenue of €43.3 million in 2021.
