According to the quarterly results recently published by the LVMH group, Christian Dior Couture, which operates the Christian Dior brand, saw a strong growth in sales in the first quarter of fiscal 2011.

The subsidiary company of the Christian Dior group registered a 22% turnover increase at current rate and 19% at constant rate, reaching 221 million euros. Christian Dior Couture pointed out to a particular growth in retail activity, +28% at current rate and +24% at constant rate. “All regions registered double-digit growths: Europe, America and even Asia, despite the recent events in Japan”, the group commented.
