Christian Dior Couture said that its retail sales were the driving force behind the rise, with “very strong growth" of 16% at constant exchange rates for the year, according to a statement released on Thursday.

"We saw a good performance on all markets and products and underscores the success of Maison Dior products,” said the company.

The company’s fiscal year having been shifted, its first quarter now corresponds to July, August and September.
