Circular fashion platform Labell-D names growth exec
Sustainable circular fashion platform Labell-D has appointed digital entrepreneur and influencer Dr Adanna Steinacker as its Chief Growth Officer.
She joins co-founders Julia and Nicolas Vendramin in expanding the pioneering e-commerce platform, which claims to be the world’s first closed loop fashion ecosystem.
Dr Steinacker will be responsible for managing brand awareness and audience growth, “utilising her experience as one of the UK’s leading lifestyle influencers” to grow the platform’s community.
For nearly a decade she has managed her lifestyle brand as a digital creator and influencer, building an online community of nearly a million followers and working across a range of lifestyle brands. Her work spans international brands including eBay and Pandora.
As an activist “focused on creating social, economic and political change through empowerment”, Steinacker “will help consumers connect to Labell-D’s emphasis on the legacy and economics of their purchases through circularity”.
Steinacker said: “I am delighted to be joining Labell-D, a platform that makes fashion more accessible, breaking down barriers of cost and access by providing multiple solutions within one ecosystem.”
Meanwhile, Amara Communications has also been appointed Labell-D’s International PR agency with a brief to raise brand awareness in both consumer and trade media.
Amara MD Katie Forster said: “Labell-D provides a solution to an international dilemma, with an appeal which resonates with consumers and brands in London, Hong Kong and Singapore. We’re excited to work with [the brand] to grow awareness across markets, with a primary focus on the UK."
