As Chief Digital Officer, Garces will lead the development and implementation of the company’s comprehensive digital strategy, which will include leveraging emerging technologies and platforms. The appointment supports the coming launch of Citizen’s ERP and Product Information System that will bring the Citizen brand portfolio to the forefront of business technology and will help the company streamline its back-office operations and efficiency.

Prior to joining Citizen, Garces led the Ralph Lauren digital team as VP, Wholesale Digital & E-commerce. She joined the company in 2009 as Senior Director, Wholesale Online Marketing & Strategy. Garces also held e-commerce and online marketing roles at Godiva and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Citizen makes its first major hire after undergoing a company integration with Bulova. Following the integration in January, Jeffrey Cohen was named President of the company, and Stephen Miller, John Wille and Trish Keller were named Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Technology Officer, respectively.
