The footwear retailer Concepts has teamed up with the likes of Adidas in the past, and now the brand has created a new spin on Mephisto’s classic Match sneaker. Concepts’ new version will come in two colorways, a bright magenta and mint. Both sneakers will be available with either off-white or matching colored laces.

As with the traditional Match, the new Concepts version uses Mephisto’s Soft Air technology and the brand’s Mephisto's 100 percent Caoutchouc Gum Sole. The Concepts X Mephisto collaboration will launch on September 1 exclusively at Concepts’ New York City and Cambridge stores, as well as the online store, and will retail for $375.

Earlier this month, Concepts launched a new store dedicated to Adidas products on Boston’s Newbury Street. Though the new store will sell some Concepts-branded products, it will not sell any items that directly compete with Adidas. Other Concepts stores focus on footwear and streetwear, and stock brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Nike, Reebok and Vans.

Mephisto was founded in 1965 by Martin Michaeli. The French brand is now sold throughout Europe in countries such as Spain and the Netherlands, and in the United States and Canada.
