Converse and Carhartt WIP debut first collaboration
Carhartt WIP is joining forces with a key player in the sneaker world. After several collaborations with Vans’ Classics line, the workwear label is to deliver this spring a first collection with Converse.

The two labels have co-created 3 colourways of the Chuck Taylor All Star '70 Ox, in Carhartt staple fabrics of drill, canvas and ripstop.
“Subtle detailing on each sneaker gives a nod to the no-frills workwear upon which Carhartt WIP has built its reputation. These include triple stitching on the eye row and heel counter, red bar-tack style accents on the outsole and two sets of premium cotton woven laces,” the brands said in a press release.
For the campaign, the brands have called upon several artists including A$AP Nast, member of hip-hop collective A$AP Mob ; teen designer Jim Longden; British DJ Emerald Rose; music producer Sega Bodega and Rae, founder of an English casting agency.
The three colourways will be available from June 1 via the brands’ e-stores, in addition to at some independent retailers, each pair priced at approximately 100 euros.
