Danielle Brooks has landed a new role as the newest creative eye at Fashion to Figure.

The "Orange is the New Black" star has been snapped up by the plus-size retailer to create a capsule clothing collection for the party season. The actress and singer will also front the label's holiday campaign, which the brand claims will celebrate "real women, self-expression, body positivity, and inclusivity". In keeping with this concept, the campaign was produced by an all plus-size crew.

Dubbed the ‘Danielle Brooks x FTF Holiday Collection', the series includes a curated selection of looks handpicked by Brooks, encompassing evening gowns and party dresses, as well as more casual separates.

"I am so proud to be associated with a brand that embraces diversity, celebrates inclusivity, offers great fashion at amazing value and supports causes that are important to us," said Brooks in a statement. "I love the spirit and confidence of Fashion to Figure's holiday concept as it really reflects the idea that we are all a part of something magical this time of year."

The news proves that the celebrity fashion collaboration is hotter than ever -- particularly in the plus-size sector. The year 2018 has seen plus-size model and influencer Jordyn Woods launch her own activewear line ‘Secndnture', while blogger Tanesha Awasthi, aka the 'Girl With Curves', teamed up with plus-size retailer Lane Bryant on a capsule collection that launched this fall. Supermodel Ashley Graham has continued to create pieces for Swimsuits For All, while high-end designers such as Jason Wu and Anna Sui have recently recently opened up to the curvy market via various collaborations.
