Danish brand Hummel International enters Indian market
Danish sportswear major Hummel International has entered the Indian market with the launch of its exclusive product range on leading e-commerce portals in India.
Hummel is looking to tap into the growing sportswear market in India and garner a larger market share with by customising its products according to the tastes of Indian audience. It is looking to partner with e-commerce firms, retailers and open exclusive brand outlets to reach out to customers across the country.
Chief Executive Officer Allan Vad Neilson said: "India ranks very high in our list of priorities. Hummel is looking to become one of the major players in Indian market and will soon be going offline with its brick and mortar stores. The company has already appointed Soumava Naskar as Head Business Development, India.
Founded in 1923, Hummel is one of the oldest team sport brands in the business. The brand is currently available in the Indian market on Flipkart firms Jabong and Myntra.
