David Beckham Eyewear launches AW22 range and campaign
Global celebrity David Beckham has launched his sixth eyewear collection, continuing his association with Italian designer/manufacturer/distributor Salifo.
The AW22 collection, which comes with the obligatory promotional campaign, is described as being both “stylish and bold, yet remains true to its classic aesthetic”. It takes inspiration from Beckham’s home town of London and has the “look and feel of the iconic British capital in the autumn”.
The London-inspired collection “captures the moment with a cinematic approach, playing with vibrant lights and retro warm colours”. These include light and deep browns, oranges, pinks, light and deep blues and greens, to match and highlight the shades and frames of the new collection.
The accompanying campaign sees Beckham relaxing in London wearing new models such as the DB 7091/S that comes in bold acetate, and the DB 1098/S, a combination between the front in acetate, designed for graduated ophthalmic lenses, and the flat temples in titanium.
Beckham says: “I wanted this collection of eyewear to showcase classic British style and take inspiration from the beauty of London in the autumn.”
