Deckers appointments to strengthen multichannel operations

Deckers Outdoor Corporation continues to strengthen its leadership. Having recorded a turnover up by 10% in 2013 at 1.13 billion euros, the Californian group specialized in shoes has just promoted John Kalinich to senior vice president of omnichannel and e-commerce operations. He previously worked as vice-president of consumer direct.

Kalinich will now work to accelerate the growth of Decker’s e-commerce operations, which saw sales jump by 30% in 2013, representing 10% of the group’s total sales. Furthermore, he will be charged with strengthening the web presence of Deckers’ brands (Ugg, Teva, etc.).

Equally of note is the appointment of Brad Willis (formerly at West Marine and LVMH) to senior vice president of information technology, aimed, inter alia, at improving omnichannel sourcing.
