Plus-sized model Denise Bidot has been causing an online sensation with her latest video campaign for the American brand "SwimsuitsForAll".

The succinct campaign, titled "Beach Body. Not Sorry." sees the sultry model raising temperatures on a tropical beach while showcasing her unretouched curves in a sexy black and white bikini.

Accompanying the images is a voiceover by Bidot, relaying inspirational body-positive messages. "I love everything about my body," she says. "I've learned really to just love every bit of it -- the cellulite, the stretchmarks, everything that I at one point when I was younger thought was an imperfection I now realize is everything that make me me." She adds: "Curvy women really shouldn't apologize for who they are."

The candid commercial, which could be a direct retort to the recent furor caused by the weight loss supplement Protein World's "Beach body ready" advertising campaign, has received a great response since being posted online. Fans have taken to Twitter to express their delight, with comments including "You are killing it! Thank you for using women with curves in your marketing. #HealthyIsTheNewSkinny"

The movie comes weeks after chain store Target launched its campaign "Target Loves Every Body," featuring bloggers Nashelly Messina, Nikki Minton, Sarah Boyd and Chante Burkett, who come in all shapes and sizes. The brand says of the campaign: "Being curvy, petite or having trouble finding the right suit shouldn't keep you from being at the beach. There are many ways to show off your best assets, and there's a suit to fit every body."

So could not chasing perfection and embracing what we have be the latest big swimwear trend? Let's hope so. Surely the best advice comes from Bidot herself. "Be you and just rock this world man."
